A gay Catholic Bishop Krzysztof Charamsa stands a good chance to become the UK Time magazine’s Person of the year 2015. At least, this possibility exists, writes TheNominant.com. 43 year old priest’s coming out was a bombshell for clergy, mass media, and the Vatican. This is also the first time in the history, when an active churchman confesses to his love to a person of the same sex, and this was done just at a press conference.
“I have to say who I am. I am a gay priest. I am a happy and proud gay priest”,- he told Gazeta Wyborcza.
Despite the fact that Vatican sacked heroic gay priest after his coming out, UK bookmakers still favour the ‘Migrant’ and a Greek leader Alexis Tsipras along with the US President Barak Obama as main nominees to become person of the year. There are high chances that the Polish gay priest Krzysztof Charamsa, who has made his coming out at a press conference, will also join the Time’s nominees. What do you think? Shall he be Time magazine person of the year?
